The MACC Alliance of Connected Communities is:

a strategic partnership of community organizations that have joined together to leverage their collective resources and voice. Our unique alliance honors the individual identities and histories of its member agencies and forges innovative partnerships among members and with nonmember agencies, businesses and leaders. MACC members share the goals of serving individuals, families and various communities that are defining the future.

Partnership Highlight: Aramark - Building Community

The MACC Alliance and Aramark Building Community, a philanthropic and volunteer program, have partnered together.  For the past year, Aramark has been helping execute projects in our member community centers, such as Keystone, by providing volunteers, expertise in food service, health and wellness, and job readiness, and resources.

The mission of ARAMARK Building Community is to enrich the lives of families in need by supporting local community centers to help people of all generations learn, earn and thrive. ARAMARK recognizes the important role community centers play in addressing the comprehensive needs of individuals and families and is providing a range of resources, including grants, volunteers and in-kind contributions.

How Aramark can help MACC Alliance organizations:

Aramark has reminded us that they're here to help!  However, we need to bring them opportunities to get involved with!  If you have a project that can utilize Aramark's large workforce, expertise, or mini-grants for project resources and materials, follow these steps:

  1. Email Liz Backstrom for a Project Request form; fill it out.
  2. Liz will e-mail the request to Aramark, who will then e-mail the volunteer groups to recruit volunteers and resources.
  3. Wait for the Alliance to connect you with the "Star Team" from Aramark that will be helping you out!
