COMMUNITY POWER VOTE
is a visibility campaign for community
organizations to use to engage prospective voters. It has a strong visual that
reflects real people in communities across the nation. Content is built on
three simple points:
1. voter registration
2. education
3. get-out-the-vote efforts
It has been developed for use by nonprofit organizations that must, by law, conduct strictly nonpartisan activities. Community Power Vote is designed to compliment any other voter education efforts. The campaign can easily be used in concert with other voter programs from local and national nonpartisan sources.
The goal: Place Community Power Vote in the hands of as many nonprofit community organizations as possible across the country.
Who is behind the campaign: The package is being distributed nationally by the United Neighborhood Centers of America (UNCA). To order a Community Power Vote kit, contact UNCA. Kit materials were developed by the MACC Alliance of Connected Communities (MACC) in Minnesota.
