Innovation
Non-profits in today's economy, with shrinking funds and higher demands for support programs, innovation is needed to keep pushing forward with services. Here are just two examples of how the MACC Alliance has demonstrated innovation in recent years:
MACC Service Network (LLC)
The Alliance is in the process of creating a MACC Service Network (LLC). With this more formalized system for collaboration, we are fusing our different organizations' resources, leadership, and ideas to change the way the social sector does business.
The Networked Services Committee has worked diligently, with the guidance and expertise of Carol Berde, to create a charter that sets forth the norms, principles, expectations, and accountabilities for any collaborations undertaken by members of the MACC Alliance. In addition, the charter will be used as the basis for any necessary legal documents for contracts with funders. The committee also developed a Project Agreement Outline that will co-exist with each newly developed project. Our hope is to outline project leadership, decision-making and dispute resolution, data management, and finances prior to a project's start.
Legal documents are now being drawn up to create this Service Network LLC. We will keep you updated as new business develops!
