"Unleashing the Connective Power of Communities"

The MACC Alliance of Connected Communities is:

a strategic partnership of community organizations that have joined together to leverage their collective resources and voice. MACC members share the goals of serving individuals, families and various communities that are defining the future.

Leading through Change: Coaching Opportunity for Managers

Back by popular demand! This six session coaching series is for those relatively new to management (less than 3 years of experience in managing) who are providing leadership within their organizations.  Conversations will focus on how to grow as positive, effective leaders as our sector continues to face challenges, change and complexity.  Participants will become more aware of their leadership style while learning steps toward successful change management.  These highly interactive sessions will also provide participants with the opportunity to learn from peers while sharing their own experiences and knowledge.  You can view the original flyer for this coaching series here.

When: Wednesdays: July 11th; August 8th; September 12th; October 10th; November 14th; and December 12th from 10:00am – Noon (each session)

Where: The Family Partnership - East Lake Branch.  4123 East Lake Street; Minneapolis, MN 55406.

Cost: $50 per registrant.  Costs will go toward purchasing the Everything DiSC Management assessment.  Payment is due by the first session.  Checks can be made out to the MACC Alliance.

Youth Evaluation Team

group The Youth Evaluation Team is in the process of its spring survey administration! In the next few weeks, the post-survey for the original 6 Cs survey that the team created will be completed. In addition, the team is also conducting a pre-survey of an adapted 6 Cs survey for Kindergarten-3rd graders.

This summer, the MACC Alliance will hire a data analyst to assist in providing descriptive statistics as well as analyze the results of these surveys. Afterward, we hope to apply what we learned from the survey to further inform each other about best practices in our youth programs to further improve program quality.
